Clair Ockhee Jung, L. Ac., hails from Seoul, South Korea, and currently resides in Virginia. With over a decade of extensive experience in acupuncture & oriental herbal medicine, she has dedicated her life to the well-being of communities in the Alexandria, Arlington, Woodbridge areas, and beyond, offering compassionate holistic treatments for a wide variety of acute and chronic issues. Drawing inspiration from the wonders of God's creation, she is particularly passionate about serving veterans and supporting women's and family health.

 

As a skilled integrative acupuncturist who combines modern research and traditional healing methods, her extensive background include working closely with a neurologist for the past 7 years. In this capacity, she focuses on the integration of acupuncture into the treatment of neurological and brain-related ailments, including conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, migraines, and memory loss.  

She earned a graduate degree in Pharmacy in 2003 from Chung-Ang University in Seoul, South Korea where she completed her thesis on The Development of Anti-oxidant from Aerial Part of Umbelliferae. She completed her master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2010 from SAMRA University in Los Angeles, California.

  

Ms. Jung's experience includes working on numerous patients with various types of ailments including arthritis, lupus, & spinal joint issues such as pain in the lower back, shoulder, wrist, neck, knee, & ankle. She has also worked with patients experiencing infertility and pain caused by internal medicine & emotional issues such as stress, depresson, & anxiety.    

  

In addition, she has developed a passion for utilizing various types of alternative therapies including music, art, color, & aromatherapy. She has also assisted children with disabilities, elderly persons, & terminally ill patients in hospice programs.

 

Ms. Jung has taken her passion for helping others to the next level by teaching acupuncture and oriental medicine since 2013 at South Baylo University in Virginia.

 

In her over 15 years of experience in beauty & health concepts, Ms. Jung has embraced an emphasis on the heart, body & soul being connected as one. It is her belief that God has provided health & happiness to everyone & she has devoted her experience, gifts & abilities to aid others in achieving favorable health & invigorating beauty.  

 

This year, she is adding a new focus to her practice by concentrating on mental challenges and other issues, such as PTSD, ADHD, depression, addiction, Alzheimer's disease, and memory.

She has participated in in several Medical Mission Ministries in the U.S and abroad, including in Kenya, Tanzania, and Chile. 

I have practiced dentistry in private practice in New York for 49 years and I also write papers relating to Social Science. Please  feel free to contact me. I have been interested in the field of accupuncture for 35 years.

I have known Clair Ockhee Jung Hoffman for 2 years. She is responsible, polite, mature, and always concerned for others. She has the self discipline and motivation, that, combined with an ability to think critically  will propel her to work at the cutting edge of her field.  She has a searching mind and is able to connect loose threads of data from disparate disciplines into meaningful themes.
